Antivirus Problems

Antivirus is a well-known product that has long been promoted as a standard item similar to a toothbrush, detergent, or car. Antiviruses, despite their popularity, are not without flaws.

Antivirus software simply cannot keep up with the variety and variety of new malwares being created every day. It’s an arms race. there are many antivirus programs available on the market or online can provide security close to 100 percent.

Another problem is that viruses and Trojans are able of manipulating the software running on your computer so that it is unable to recognize them correctly. This happens when the virus changes the settings of the antivirus program, or when it exploits one of its functions or features to create a false-positive.

There are numerous instances when the antivirus software does not recognize files even when they are dangerous. This happens because the anti-virus has not had the chance to add the file to its database. In order to do this it must analyse the new file and compare its content with known malicious files in the antivirus’s database. This is a lengthy and resource-intensive process. And the slower it runs and the less accurate the detection. The antivirus also needs to install interceptors to analyze events within the protected computer kernel in order to transmit the data to its engine.
